How to Play Callbreak:

Typically, Callbreak is played by four players with a standard 52-card deck. Cards rank from highest to lowest as A-K-Q-J-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2 within each suit. The game spans either 3 or 5 rounds, starting with a random card draw to determine the first dealer. The player with the lowest card shuffles and deals clockwise, with the player to the dealer's right leading the first trick.

Any card can be led, and other players must follow suit. If a player can't follow suit, they must play a spade (trump) if they have one that can beat any played spades. How to Win at Callbreak:

Victory in a trick goes to the highest card of the led suit unless a spade is played, in which case the highest spade wins. To win, players must meet or exceed their call of spades. Successfully meeting your call adds the number called to your score, while exceeding it adds an additional 0.1 per extra spade. Failing to meet your call results in the subtraction of the called number from your score.

A round must be re-dealt if a player receives no spades or no face cards (J, Q, K, A) across any suit.
