Über Medarots (Medabots):
Medarots sind anpassbare Ego-Freund-Roboter, die von Medarotsha entwickelt wurden. Jeder Medarot wird zusammengesetzt, indem ein Kopf, ein rechter Arm, ein linker Arm und ein Bein an einem Körper (Tympet) befestigt werden und eine Medaille als brain eingearbeitet wird. Diese etwa 1 Meter großen Roboter verfügen über eine Intelligenz und ein Empfindungsvermögen, die denen von Menschen ebenbürtig sind oder diese sogar übertreffen. Ihre Beliebtheit stieg aufgrund der einfachen Anpassung durch austauschbare Teile und leicht verfügbarer Einkäufe sprunghaft an. Das Kampfspiel „Robattle“ steigerte ihre Popularität zusätzlich.
