Sony und Firewalk Studios haben die Post-Launch-Roadmap für ihren kommenden Helden-Shooter Concord enthüllt, der am 23. August auf PS5 und PC erscheint. Das Spiel verzichtet auf das traditionelle Battle-Pass-Modell und konzentriert sich stattdessen auf ein lohnendes Gameplay durch Konto- und Charakter-Leveling. Belohnungen werden durch Spielen verdient, sodass kein monetarisiertes Fortschrittssystem erforderlich ist.

Concords erste Staffel, „The Tempest“, erscheint im Oktober und stellt einen neuen spielbaren Freegunner-Charakter, eine neue Karte, zusätzliche Charaktervarianten und kosmetische Gegenstände vor. Wöchentliche Cinematic Vignetten werden die Erzählung rund um die Northstar-Crew bereichern. Ein In-Game-Store, der parallel zur ersten Staffel startet, bietet rein kosmetische Verbesserungen, ohne die Spielbalance zu beeinträchtigen.

Staffel 2 ist für Januar 2025 geplant und unterstreicht das Engagement von Firewalk Studios für konsistente saisonale Inhaltsaktualisierungen im gesamten Concords ersten Jahr.

Game Director Ryan Ellis betont das einzigartige „Crew Builder“-System des Spiels. Die Spieler bilden Teams aus fünf Freegunners, sodass bis zu drei Kopien jeder Variante möglich sind. Dies fördert vielfältige Teamzusammensetzungen und nutzt die sechs unterschiedlichen Freegunner-Rollen (Anker, Breacher, Haunt, Ranger, Taktiker und Wächter), um Achieve strategische Vorteile zu erzielen und Crew-Boni freizuschalten. Im Gegensatz zu traditionellen Schützenrollen sind Concords Freegunners auf hohen Schadensausstoß und effektive Kämpfe ausgelegt, wobei Rollenunterschiede eher den Spieleinfluss beeinflussen als einfache Archetypen wie Tank oder Support. Der Fokus liegt weiterhin auf der Belohnung von geschicktem Spiel und strategischer Teambildung.

As of now, Chibi-Robo! Power of Dooom! (originally released on the Nintendo GameCube in 2005) has not been officially added to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack (Game Boy Advance and GameCube) service.
