Descargar Ajedrez tailandés: una adaptación digital de un clásico
El ajedrez tailandés, jugado en un tablero de 8x8, comparte similitudes con el ajedrez clásico pero presenta distinciones clave. La configuración inicial refleja el ajedrez clásico, a excepción de dos diferencias cruciales: la reina blanca comienza en E1 y el rey blanco en D1 (cada rey está a la izquierda de su reina desde la perspectiva del jugador); y los peones se colocan en el tercer rango (blanco) y sexto rango (negro).
El rey, la torre y los movimientos de peones se alinean en gran medida con las reglas de ajedrez clásicas: el rey se mueve un cuadrado en cualquier dirección, la torre se mueve cualquier número de cuadrados desocupados horizontal o verticalmente, y el peón se mueve hacia adelante y captura diagonalmente hacia adelante. El juego ofrece varios modos de juego: contra IA, localmente con otra persona o en línea contra oponentes.
Movimientos de piezas:
- King: se mueve como en el ajedrez europeo. El castillo no está permitido.
- Queen: se mueve solo un cuadrado en diagonal.
- Rook: mueve cualquier número de cuadrados desocupados horizontal o verticalmente.
- Bishop: Se mueve un cuadrado diagonalmente en cualquier dirección o un cuadrado hacia adelante verticalmente.
- Caballero: se mueve en forma "L" (dos cuadrados en una dirección, luego un cuadrado perpendicularmente), como en el ajedrez europeo.
- Peón: Se mueve un cuadrado hacia adelante verticalmente y captura un cuadrado diagonalmente hacia adelante, como en el ajedrez europeo. Los peones promueven solo a Queens al alcanzar el sexto rango.
Condiciones de victoria:
Checkmating, el rey del oponente gana el juego. Un punto muerto da como resultado un empate.

- As of now, Chibi-Robo! Power Control (originally released on the Nintendo GameCube) has not been officially announced as part of the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service, which includes GameCube titles. The Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack does include a selection of GameCube games—such as Super Smash Bros. Melee, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, and Super Mario 64—but Chibi-Robo! Power Control is not among the currently available titles. However, given the popularity of Chibi-Robo! and the ongoing expansion of the Switch Online library, it's possible the game could be added in the future, especially since it’s a beloved and quirky classic.
