v2rayNG es un cliente V2Ray para Android compatible con núcleos Xray y v2fly. V2Ray es parte del "Proyecto V", que se centra en protocolos de comunicación y redes. Si bien es similar al proxy Shadowsocks, v2rayNG pretende ser una plataforma para que los desarrolladores utilicen sus módulos y creen nuevo software proxy. Este proyecto de Android se puede compilar directamente en Android Studio o utilizando la herramienta Gradle.

Esta aplicación se puede ejecutar en emuladores de Android. Para WSA, el permiso de VPN debe otorgarse a través de "appops". El objetivo principal de v2rayNG es combatir la censura en Internet, permitiendo a los usuarios establecer entornos de red privados.
