Hnefatafl est un ancien jeu de société scandinave avec des racines s'étendant sur l'Europe médiévale, bien avant que les échecs ne se rendent dans l'histoire. Dans ce jeu TAFL classique, deux armées asymétriques s'affrontent sur le champ de bataille.
