Vous incarnez Tom Harris, un archéologue amateur fasciné par l'occulte et le paranormal. Son obsession le pousse à découvrir un livre maudit – ses pages couvertes de symboles cryptiques et d'instructions pour un rituel noir oublié depuis longtemps. Incapable de résister à l'appel du savoir interdit, Tom accomplit le rituel… et réveille ainsi une entité ancienne et innommable.

Au moment où la dernière incantation résonne, la réalité se fracture. Tom est arraché à notre monde et précipité dans une dimension déformée et surréelle – un reflet grotesque de sa propre réalité, altéré par l'esprit d'une entité maléfique venue d'ailleurs. Le ciel saigne, les bâtiments se tordent en formes géométriques impossibles, et des murmures s'élèvent du néant. Ici, la raison est fragile, et chaque ombre cache une horreur tapie dans l'ombre.
