Uth utilise un deck standard à 52 cartes. Pour commencer, vous plairez un pari égal à la fois sur la mise et l'aveugle. L'objectif, comme dans le Texas Hold'em traditionnel, est de créer la meilleure main de cinq cartes possible en utilisant vos cartes de trou et les cartes communautaires. Une fois les mains comparées, le résultat détermine le sort de vos paris ANTE, aveugles et joués selon les règles de l'UTH. Si vous gagnez et que le concessionnaire se qualifie, les trois paris sont payés. Si le concessionnaire ne se qualifie pas, votre pari ante est repoussé vers vous. La victoire d'un concessionnaire signifie que vous perdez tous les paris, à l'exception du pari de voyage, qui est indépendant. En cas de cravate, tous les paris vous sont retournés.
