Key Features

No Fingerpricks Required: The FreeStyle Libre 2 system provides excellent accuracy, reducing the need for traditional fingerprick testing. However, if glucose readings and alarms do not align with symptoms or expectations, a fingerprick may still be necessary.
Optional Alarms: Users can set customizable, real-time glucose alarms to receive automatic notifications of high or low glucose levels, enabling prompt action to manage their condition effectively. These alarms are effective within a 20-foot range and require the appropriate smartphone settings to be enabled.

Before Starting Your Sensor

Before initiating your Sensor, decide which device you will use:

Using Your Phone: Start the Sensor with the FreeStyle Libre 2 app to receive alarms and glucose readings on your phone.
Using the FreeStyle Libre 2 Reader: Start the Sensor with the Reader to receive alarms and readings on the Reader.

Note that the app and Reader do not share data. To ensure comprehensive data collection on a single device, scan the Sensor every 8 hours with that device. All data from your devices can be uploaded and viewed on LibreView.com.
