Download This Japanese Mahjong game adheres to standard Japanese rules. Tiles are selected by manipulating an on-screen slider; tapping the slider discards a tile. The objective is to complete four sets (melds) and a pair. For example: [1, 2, 3][6, 6, 6][6, 7, 8][N, N, N][4, 4].
Note that certain hands are invalid following a Chi, Pon, or Open Kan. Be mindful of hand limitations when using 1s and 9s in Chi and Pon. Japanese Mahjong requires at least one winning hand. A Reach can be declared for a 1000-point bonus, but this is impossible after a Chi, Pon, or Open Kan. Closed hands yield higher scores.
A "Lost Hand" occurs when a player is waiting for a winning tile but cannot win because they previously discarded that tile. Even with a Lost Hand, a self-drawn win is possible, but winning off another player's discard is not. Therefore, strategic reasoning based on opponent discards is crucial for victory. Winning tiles discarded by opponents cannot be used to win.
