Stone Golem Studios has launched Chronomon – Monster Farm in early access on Android, offering a unique blend of monster-taming and farm simulation. Priced at a one-time fee of $9.99, the game stands out with its no-ads and no-in-app-purchases policy, ensuring a seamless gaming experience.
Manage a Post-Apocalyptic Farm
In Chronomon – Monster Farm, you take on the role of a survivor in a pixelated, post-apocalyptic world. Your mission is to rebuild towns while navigating the enigmatic Epoch Syndicate. The heart of the game lies in catching and training over 100 diverse Chronomon, each with unique traits, rarities, and skill trees. With 39 skill trees and over 300 skills at your disposal, these creatures are essential not only for exploration and farming but also for executing Perfect Hits in battles and unlocking hidden passives. They assist in various farm tasks like planting, harvesting, and even rock-smashing.
The farming aspect is enriched with over 50 different crops and more than 20 types of fish to catch. The food you cook from these resources keeps both you and your Chronomon in top shape. Additionally, a dynamic weather system introduces elements like snowstorms and rain, which can impact both your crops and combat strategies.
The game's narrative allows you to choose between focusing on being a Monster Tamer, a Farmer, or balancing both roles. Explore a vast open world filled with dungeons, forests, towns, and secret glades. Take a look at the game in action below.
Chronomon also Plays with Time
The game's mechanics are influenced by the time of day, which affects enemy behaviors and NPC availability. You can also engage with a mail system and take on weekly jobs from town boards, adding depth to the gameplay loop.
Currently in early access, Chronomon – Monster Farm lets you experience all the main content, visit 7 towns, participate in real-time and turn-based battles, grow your farm, fish, craft, and decorate. With a robust foundation already in place, the developers plan to enhance the game over the next year before its 1.0 release.
A unique feature of Chronomon is its cloud-saving system, allowing seamless gameplay across various devices, including mobile phones, PCs, consoles, and even smartwatches. This cross-platform compatibility makes Chronomon a versatile choice for gamers on the go. You can find Chronomon – Monster Farm on the Google Play Store.
