One More Level, the studio behind the critically acclaimed Ghostrunner series, has revealed a new project: Cyber Slash. Known for their fast-paced, brutal action games, One More Level is shifting gears with this title, set in a dark, alternate-history Napoleonic era.
While the studio is also developing Project Swift, slated for release in 2028, the newly unveiled image strongly suggests a focus on Cyber Slash.

Cyber Slash promises an epic and challenging action experience, diverging from the Souls-like formula. Although parrying and exploiting enemy weaknesses will remain key gameplay elements, the protagonist will undergo mutations throughout the game, adding a unique evolution mechanic. The game will offer a fresh perspective on the Napoleonic era, pitting legendary heroes against formidable, unknown threats. The Ghostrunner games averaged 81% and 79% (first game) and 80% and 76% (sequel) across critic and player reviews, setting a high bar for One More Level's upcoming title.
