Pokémon TCG Pocket's Blastoise Wonder Pick event continues with a second phase, introducing fresh cosmetic items to the in-game shop. This update brings a new Blastoise icon, coin, card sleeves, and a striking blue Blastoise playmat. These additions join the existing Shinedust exchange.
The event's second part runs until January 22nd, offering players a chance to earn event tickets. However, the shop itself remains open until January 28th, allowing players ample time to redeem their accumulated tickets for the new cosmetics. Players should prioritize daily logins to maximize their ticket collection before the January 22nd cutoff.
Following a busy holiday period of generous in-game gifts, the event schedule has settled into a more regular pace. Many players have already completed the Mythical Island booster pack collection and anticipate the next expansion, expected at the end of January. The confirmation that Pack Hourglasses will be usable in future expansions has prompted many to stockpile them.

The first phase, beginning January 6th, introduced promo cards featuring Squirtle and Charmander, boasting unique artwork despite identical attacks to their standard counterparts. These, along with a Blue and Blastoise backdrop and cover, remain available. New missions tied to Wonder Pick choices reward players with Event Shop Tickets. These missions, focusing on Wonder Pick participation and collecting Fire and Water-type cards, are cumulative across both event parts. The Bonus Pick also offers additional Event Shop Tickets, simplifying the acquisition of all shop items. Daily logins are strongly advised, especially considering the rumored untradeability of these limited-edition promo cards.
