At the beginning of any game, it's tough to pinpoint the perfect character build that suits your playstyle. This is where respeccing becomes your best friend. If you're not vibing with your character's current setup in *Avowed*, it might be time to respec. For instance, I started off wanting to be a full wizard, but after getting pummeled a few times, I switched to a spellsword hybrid. As you progress further into *Avowed*, you might find yourself wanting to respec again to optimize your battle strategy and achieve your ultimate dream build.
How to Respec Your Abilities in Avowed
To respec in Avowed, dive into the menu and head over to the “Abilities” section. You'll spot a “Reset Points” option towards the bottom of the screen. It starts at a cost of 100 Copper Skeyt, which increases as you progress. Just hit the button, confirm your choice, and pay the fee. This action will wipe all your ability points from the skill trees, except for the “Godlike” abilities, which are locked and can only be acquired through specific in-game decisions.
How to Respec Your Attributes in Avowed
If you're satisfied with your abilities but want to tweak your attributes, or perhaps you're aiming for a complete overhaul, you can respec your attribute points in Avowed by accessing the menu and selecting the “Character” section. Look for the reset button and its associated cost at the bottom, beneath the attribute names. The initial fee is 100 Copper Skeyt, which will rise over time. Once you've hit the button and paid the cost, you'll reclaim your Attribute points and can redistribute them as you see fit.
How to Respec Your Companion in Avowed
Want to respec your companion in Avowed? Open the menu, navigate to the Abilities section, and switch to the “Companions” tab. Under your companion's name, you'll find an icon that, when selected, allows you to reset their abilities for a set amount of Copper Skeyt. Confirm your decision, and all of their points will be returned for reallocation. Keep in mind, you'll need to respec each companion individually.
