VatAlert

Your Personal VATSIM Controller Alert Application

Imagine you're halfway through a four-hour online flight from LGAV to EGLL with no ATC available. You step away briefly, only to return and find a private message. A controller came online just after you left, tried to reach you, but now they're informing you, "I called 25 minutes ago; you're now leaving my airspace."

Prevent this from ever happening again. With this simple app, enter your callsign to receive instant alerts upon entering or approaching any ATC-controlled area. You can customize the notification radius based on your proximity to the controlled sector (default is 20nm). The application integrates seamlessly with live VATSIM data servers.

VatAlert is an essential tool for every VATSIM pilot who wants real-time updates on controller availability. Receive immediate notifications when a VATSIM controller logs on in your current flight area or as you approach controlled airspace. Never miss an opportunity for realistic ATC interaction and enhance your simulation experience.

ATC Availability Tracker

Want to fly from your favorite airport with online ATC, but tired of constantly checking for controller availability? Simply enter the specific ATC station you wish to monitor, and get notified the moment it comes online. Alternatively, enter the first few letters of an ICAO code to receive alerts for all matching stations as they become active (e.g., 'LG' matches LGAV_APP, LGAV_TWR, LGGG_CTR, LGTS_APP, etc.).

Important Note: The VATSIM Code of Conduct permits brief cockpit absences of up to 30 minutes with valid reason. It remains each pilot's responsibility to adhere to all VATSIM regulations.
