A popular Persian card game enjoyed across the Middle East
Pasur, also known as Chahar Barg (Persian: پاسور), is a traditional Iranian fishing-style card game. Widely played in Iran, it shares similarities with the Italian games Cassino and Scopa, and bears particularly close resemblance to Egypt's Bastra. The game goes by several names including Chahâr Barg (referring to its 4-card hands), Haft Khâj (seven clubs), and Yâzdah (meaning 11 - a key winning score derived from adding 7 clubs to 4-card hands).
