Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium Progression Guide

In Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium, your primary objective is to swiftly progress through the story campaign and elevate your Commander level to 30. Reaching this milestone unlocks essential game features like PvP and Boss Fights, which offer rewarding experiences. This guide outlines the steps you need to follow to achieve this goal, along with tips on managing your stamina effectively.

Reroll

For free-to-play (F2P) players, rerolling is a crucial strategy to kickstart your journey in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium. At the game's launch, you have the chance to acquire Suomi from the rate-up banner. Although it's possible to obtain her without rerolling, it often requires using up a significant portion of your resources.

Aim to reroll until you secure Suomi from the rate-up banner, alongside either Qiongjiu or Tololo from the standard or beginner’s discounted banner. With Suomi and another SSR DPS unit, you'll be well-equipped for a strong beginning.

Push Through the Story

Focus on advancing through the story campaign as quickly as possible. Initially, you can skip the side battles and concentrate solely on the main story missions to boost your account level. A good strategy is to prioritize campaign missions until you hit a progression wall that requires a higher Commander level, at which point you should shift focus to other areas.

Do Your Summons as Necessary

As you complete missions, you'll accumulate summon tickets and Collapse Pieces. It's crucial to save your Collapse Pieces for rate-up banners and avoid using them on the standard banner.

If you haven't obtained Suomi, dedicate your resources to her banner. Otherwise, use standard summoning tickets on the regular banner to try and pull another SSR character, but keep your Collapse Pieces untouched.

Limit Break and Level Up

Your character levels are linked to your account level, so whenever your Commander level increases, make sure to visit the Fitting Room to enhance your Dolls and their weapons. Upon reaching level 20, you'll need to gather Stock Bars to break the level cap, which can be earned through Supply Missions in the Campaign menu.

Concentrate on your main team, ideally consisting of Suomi, Qiongjiu and/or Tololo, and fill the remaining spots with strong characters like Sharkry and Ksenia. If you have Tololo, you can replace Ksenia with her.

Do the Event Missions

At level 20, you'll unlock event missions, which are temporary and feature a unique side story. Completing these missions grants you Collapse Pieces and event currency.

To maximize your event rewards, complete all Normal missions and at least the first Hard mission. You'll have three daily attempts at Hard missions, which are your primary source of event currency. Use this currency to clear the event shop, purchasing summon tickets, Collapse Pieces, SR characters, weapons, and other beneficial items.

Dispatch Room and Affinity

Like many gacha games, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium features an affinity system. You can increase a Doll's affinity by gifting them items in the Dormitory.

Raising their affinity allows you to send them on Dispatch missions, which provide additional resources. Additionally, you can earn Wish Coins for a separate gacha system and potentially obtain a copy of Perithya. The Dispatch shop also offers summon tickets and other valuable items, so make sure to manage it regularly.

Boss Fights and Combat Exercise

Focus next on Boss Fights and Combat Exercise modes. Boss Fights involve defeating a boss within a limited number of turns, with increasing difficulty at each level. The ideal team for this includes Qiongjiu, Suomi, Ksenia, and Sharkry.

Combat Exercise is the game's PvP mode, but don't worry about losing points for defense failures. You can set up a weaker defense for others to attack and earn points, while you accumulate points by battling easier targets.

Hard Mode Campaign Missions

Once you've cleared all Normal mode campaign missions, you can tackle Hard mode and the side battles. These don't provide Commander experience but reward you with Collapse Pieces and summon tickets.
