Gameloft has just rolled out a significant update for Minion Rush: Running Game, bringing a host of new features and improvements that are set to enhance your gaming experience. The game has now transitioned to the Unity engine, resulting in a visually upgraded look that's cleaner and sharper, enhancing the overall aesthetic of the once cartoony but slightly dated runner. Alongside this, a new, more intuitive user interface has been introduced, making navigation smoother and more enjoyable.
One of the most exciting additions with this update is the introduction of an endless runner mode, accessible directly from the main menu. This mode fulfills long-standing player requests, offering a new way to enjoy the game. Additionally, individual abilities for Minions have been introduced, adding depth and variety to gameplay.
Players can now personalize their profiles with customizable nicknames, avatars, and frames, allowing for a more personalized gaming experience. The new Costume Collection feature also lets you unlock special bonuses, giving you more reasons to collect and experiment with different outfits.
The Hall of Jam is another innovative feature added in this update. As you collect bananas during your runs, you'll fill a progress bar that unlocks a variety of rewards, including story puzzle pieces, Minion stickers, G-Coins, gadgets, and costumes, enriching your gameplay with every run.
New power-ups such as the Disco-boot, Bouncer, Rocket Blade, and Minion Armor have been introduced, adding fresh elements to your strategy. Alongside these, new Gadgets allow you to customize your approach before each run, providing temporary boosts to distance and performance.
Locations from earlier versions are receiving visual updates, enhancing the game's world. Daily and weekly tournaments have also been added, allowing you to compete against other players and earn rewards, adding a competitive edge to Minion Rush.
