Hotta Studio's eagerly awaited title, Neverness to Everness, has reached an exciting development phase with the launch of closed beta sign-ups for the Containment Test. This PC-exclusive beta offers early access to the urban open-world action RPG, which combines chaos, exploration, and the unique powers of Espers.
Set within the expansive city of Hethereau, Neverness to Everness presents a world where supernatural anomalies coexist with high-speed chases and a vibrant lifestyle. The game's trailers showcase a distinct, quirky atmosphere - featuring graffiti-tagged skateboards with autonomous behavior, otters sporting television heads, and an ever-present midnight unease.
Players will navigate this bizarre cityscape using Esper Abilities, tackling mysterious anomalies while balancing the routine of daily life and surreal emergencies. The beta provides an initial glimpse into the innovative systems that distinguish Neverness to Everness from other games in its genre.
Unlike typical open-world RPGs, urban driving plays a central role in Neverness to Everness, with customizable cars and realistic, destructible crash mechanics. The game also extends beyond combat with lifestyle elements such as home ownership and interior design, enabling players to immerse themselves in city life or indulge in detailed home decoration between missions.
