After two years of trying, streamer finished the impossible FromSoftware challenge

FromSoftware games are notoriously difficult, as evidenced by Kai Cenat's numerous attempts at conquering Elden Ring. This makes the accomplishments of players who undertake additional challenges all the more remarkable.

Streamer Dinossindgeil has achieved a groundbreaking feat: the world's first completion of God Run 3 SL1. This grueling challenge involves finishing seven consecutive FromSoftware games without leveling up or sustaining a single hit. This monumental task took him nearly two years. His emotional reaction upon defeating the final boss, Soul of Cinder in Dark Souls III, was a testament to the intensity of the undertaking.

The God Run 3 SL1 challenge is widely regarded as the most difficult within the FromSoftware community. The rules are unforgiving: seven games, no leveling, and zero damage allowed. A single hit necessitates restarting the entire run from the beginning, regardless of progress.

Dinossindgeil's journey was fraught with setbacks. In the summer of 2024, a bug in Dark Souls II (an arrow clipping through a wall) prematurely ended a run where he had already conquered Elden Ring and Dark Souls I. He was forced to begin anew.

FromSoftware's response to this achievement will be eagerly anticipated. Undeniably, Dinossindgeil has etched his name into gaming history.
