12BT, also known as 12 Tehni, is a strategic two-player board game.

12BT (a traditional game) is a chess-like duel between two opponents. Each player starts with 12 pawns. Movement follows two core rules: First, if all adjacent positions around a pawn (called Bead/Tehni/Guti) are empty, it can shift to any vacant spot. Second, players can capture an opponent's piece by jumping over it. The victor is whoever captures all 12 of their rival's pieces.

This game shares similarities with Draughts (also called Checkers), Dame, or Dames. It also resembles the Arabic game Quirkat (Al-qirq or Alquerque القرقات‎). Other related games include Halma, Chinese Checkers, and Konane. Alquerque's board design closely mirrors Bara Biti. While Draughts uses a different layout, familiarity with it helps players master Quirkat/Alquerque and this game.
