The BAFTA-winning title TOEM: A Photo Adventure is set to arrive globally on mobile devices. Developed by the Swedish indie studio Something We Made, pre-registration for TOEM is now open on Android. The official release date has been confirmed for October 22nd.
Notably, the game was previously available in early access in the US back in June of this year. It initially launched on September 14th, 2021, across Windows, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 5 platforms. While Something We Made handled publishing on these original platforms, Snapbreak will serve as the publisher for the mobile version.
What’s the setting?
In TOEM: A Photo Adventure, you embark on a journey with a young photographer exploring Scandinavian-inspired towns and landscapes. Progress is made by collecting stamps earned through fulfilling various requests from NPCs.
These tasks might involve tracking down animals, solving quirky puzzles, or capturing the perfect photograph. Once you gather enough stamps, you can board the bus to travel to your next destination, continuing your trek toward the mysterious natural phenomenon known as TOEM.
While every NPC presents a task, not all are mandatory for progression. There are more stamps available than strictly necessary, allowing players to choose between pursuing 100% completion by tackling everything or simply helping enough characters to advance the story.

The game boasts several creative mechanics, including dynamic shifts between top-down exploration views and first-person camera modes, which significantly enhance immersion.
Upon release, players will be able to try a free demo of the game, while unlocking the full version requires an investment of $7.99. If you are interested in joining the adventure, you can pre-register via the Google Play Store.
