Buraco, a variation from the Canasta family, is a Rummy-style card game. The objective is to form melds by creating sets of cards with the same rank and/or sequences within the same suit. Melds comprising seven or more cards are referred to as Buracos.

The game is typically played by four players in partnerships, though a head-to-head two-player version is also available.
