Application Description

This is a unique simulation of a Golf card game played using a standard 52-card deck along with two Jokers. At the start of the game, each player is dealt 6 cards face down. The remaining cards are placed in a stock pile, and the top card from this pile is flipped face up to begin the discard pile next to it.

The main goal for players is to reduce the total value of the cards in front of them. This can be achieved by either swapping cards for lower-value ones or pairing cards of the same rank in columns. The objective is to achieve the lowest score possible, as the player with the highest score at the end of the game loses, while the one with the lowest score wins. The game consists of a total of 9 rounds, simulating 9 "holes" in golf.

Gameplay Mechanics

Starting from the dealer's left, players take turns drawing one card at a time either from the stock pile or the discard pile. Once drawn, the player has two options: swap the drawn card with one of their own 6 face-down cards or discard it. If a swap occurs, the new card remains face up. If the drawn card is discarded, the player's turn ends immediately. A round concludes when all of a player's cards are face-up.
