Donkey King: the premier online multiplayer edition of the classic casual card game.

Donkey King: The Donkey Card Game (Online Multiplayer)

An online multiplayer version of the beloved childhood classic card game Donkey. A popular variant of the cash card game.

****** Objective******

The goal is to be the first to play all your cards from hand

****** Game play******

Gameplay is straightforward: compete to empty your hand quickly and avoid being the last player holding cards, who becomes the "donkey."

Using a standard 52-card deck (no jokers), cards are dealt equally among players. The objective is to discard all cards. The last player with cards loses and earns the title "donkey." All other players win.

The player holding the Ace of Spades begins the game by playing it. Play continues clockwise, with each player following suit when possible. If able, players must play a card of the leading suit, though the card’s rank can vary.

Once all players have played a card of the same suit, the round ends and the played cards are moved to the discard pile. The player who played the highest card of that suit leads the next round with any card from their hand.

If a player cannot follow suit, they may play any card from their hand. The round immediately stops, and the player who played the highest card of the original leading suit collects all played cards (the leading suit cards plus the off-suit card that ended play), adding them to their hand. That player then leads the next round.

Play continues in this way until one player remains with cards. That player is the donkey and loses the game. All others win.
