Sony has unveiled an exciting lineup of games for the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for May 2025, catering to Extra and Premium subscribers. Announced via a detailed PlayStation.Blog post, this month's offerings include a diverse selection of nine new titles, set to be available starting May 20, 2025.
Leading the charge for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 is Sand Land, an action RPG inspired by the manga created by Akira Toriyama. This game promises to deliver a thrilling adventure to fans of the genre. Other notable additions include Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted – Full Time Edition and the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy. The latter has just been enhanced for PS5, along with PC and Xbox Series X|S, and will be available on the same date. GSC Game World has confirmed that owners of the original trilogy on console will get the Enhanced Edition at no additional cost, though it's uncertain if this applies to PlayStation Plus subscribers.
For PlayStation Plus Premium members, Battle Engine Aquila joins the catalog, offering a classic sci-fi action experience. Players will pilot a versatile war vehicle capable of engaging enemies both in the air and on the ground, available on both PS4 and PS5.
