8 Games to Exit Xbox Game Pass in May 2025

Authore: LeoUpdate:May 14,2025

Microsoft has revealed the lineup of games that will be leaving its Xbox Game Pass subscription service on May 15, 2025. A total of eight games are set to depart, including Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Little Kitty, Big City.

Xbox Game Pass is a comprehensive online gaming service available for Xbox and PC platforms. Subscribers can enjoy the ability to stream games directly on smart devices and consoles, access new titles on their release day based on their subscription tier, and dive into a vast catalog of high-quality games. These games can be played with friends across console, PC, or cloud. The following eight titles are scheduled to be removed from this extensive library.

Play**Games leaving Xbox Game Pass in May are:** --------------------------------------------
  • Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
  • Chants of Sennaar
  • Dune: Spice Wars
  • Hauntii
  • Jurassic World Evolution 2
  • Little Kitty, Big City
  • Planet of Lana
  • The Big Con

Microsoft is expected to announce Wave 2 of the May 2025 Game Pass lineup shortly after these games exit the subscription service.

Earlier this month, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members received an exciting new perk: the ability to stream select games directly to their consoles without the need for downloading. This update was shared through an Xbox Wire post, which highlighted that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can now stream games from the Game Pass catalog, as well as "select games they own," on their Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One consoles via cloud streaming. Previously, this feature was available on smart TVs, PCs, smartphones, and Meta Quest headsets, making this a significant expansion to include consoles.

For fans disappointed by the news that Grand Theft Auto 6 has been delayed to May 2026, there's a silver lining. If you're eager to dive back into the GTA 5 universe, remember that GTA 5 Enhanced is now accessible on both Xbox Game Pass and Game Pass for PC. This is particularly noteworthy as it marks the first time the game has been available on PC Game Pass.
