Pokémon Go enthusiasts, get ready for an exciting February Community Day event! Scheduled for February 9th, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, this event will shine a spotlight on two unique Pokémon: Karrablast and Shelmet. These Pokémon will be appearing more frequently in the wild, offering you ample opportunities to catch them. Keep your eyes peeled for their Shiny versions, which might just make an appearance during your adventures.
The highlight of this event is the evolution benefits. Evolve Karrablast during the event or up until February 16th at 10:00 p.m. local time, and you'll receive an Escavalier that knows the Charged Attack Razor Shell. This move delivers a powerful 35 in Trainer Battles and an impressive 55 in Gyms and Raids. On the other hand, evolving Shelmet within the same timeframe will grant you an Accelgor equipped with the Charged Attack Energy Ball, boasting a solid 90 power in both Trainer Battles and Gyms and Raids.
Engage in the Special Research to encounter Karrablast and Shelmet, featuring special Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds. Completing these tasks will also reward you with a Premium Battle Pass and a Rare Candy XL. Additionally, a Timed Research event will run for a week following the Community Day. By logging in during the event, you can unlock tasks that offer encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet, both sporting the unique backgrounds.
