The White Wolf is back for one final adventure as production for The Witcher Season 5 is in full swing. Excitement is building as new set photos have surfaced online, showcasing Liam Hemsworth stepping into the iconic role of Geralt de Rivia. The photos, seemingly leaked and available via the Witcher fan site Redanian Intelligence, feature the Hunger Games star donning the character's signature long blonde hair and full costume. Alongside Hemsworth, familiar faces like Meng’er Zhang as Milva and Joey Batey as Jaskier are seen, both of whom have been part of the series since Henry Cavill portrayed Geralt. Hemsworth's casting was announced back in October 2022, taking over the role from Cavill starting with Season 4 and continuing into the fifth and final season.

The set photos also give a glimpse of new characters set to be introduced in Season 4 and continuing into the final season, including the legendary actor Laurence Fishburne, known for his role in Morbius, who will portray Emiel Reigs.
From these leaked set images, fans are buzzing with speculation that Season 5 may draw inspiration from Andrzej Sapkowski's Tower of the Swallow, where Geralt encounters beekeepers who guide him toward druids. However, with Season 4 still on the horizon, the narrative could take any turn, leaving plenty of room for surprises before the puzzle pieces from these images come together.
It's not just Cavill who has left the series; Kim Bodnia, who played Geralt's father figure and mentor Vesemir, will also not be returning for Season 4 due to scheduling conflicts. Netflix has yet to announce Bodnia's replacement for the role, and there is no official release date set for Season 4 at this time.
