Go Pass: Pokémon Go's Battle Pass Tested in Select Regions

Authore: AidenUpdate:May 14,2025

Get ready, Pokémon Go enthusiasts! A brand new feature called Go Pass is now being tested in select regions, and it's your chance to dive in and snag some exciting rewards. Following the success of the Tour Pass during the Pokémon Go Tour: Unova, Go Pass is set to enhance your gaming experience with a global rollout soon. If you're lucky enough to be in one of the test regions, you can participate in Go Pass: April, running from April 1st to May 6th, and unlock a treasure trove of goodies.

Battle passes have become a staple in the gaming world, and now Pokémon Go is jumping on the bandwagon. With the Go Pass, you can earn Go Points from April 1st to May 6th, which will help you level up your pass and unlock rewards like encounters with Xerneas, heaps of Stardust, XP, and essential Poké Balls.

The Go Pass comes in two flavors: the free tier and the Deluxe tier. The free version offers great perks, but if you're aiming for even bigger bonuses, the Go Pass Deluxe is your ticket to premium rewards. Think Lucky Trinkets, Candy XL, and a range of useful items like Incubators and Lure Modules. Plus, you can upgrade to Deluxe at any time and retroactively claim rewards from ranks you've already unlocked.

As you advance through the Go Pass, you'll hit Major Milestones that unlock additional benefits. At Tier one, your Daily Adventure Incense lasts longer. Tier two boosts the XP and Stardust you earn from Research Breakthroughs, and Tier three enhances the Stardust and XP you get from hatching Eggs. And as a grand finale, the Deluxe reward includes another Lucky Trinket, ensuring you can make a Lucky Friend.

Don't forget to claim some extra freebies by redeeming these Pokémon Go codes!

Since Go Pass is still in its testing phase, rewards and structures might differ across regions. Some areas might encounter different Pokémon, receive adjusted item rewards, or even earn PokéCoins at certain ranks. These variations are crucial for Niantic to fine-tune the system before its wider release.

If you're in an eligible region, seize this opportunity to experience the Go Pass before it goes global. Remember to claim all your hard-earned rewards by May 8th, and make sure to use your Lucky Trinket before it expires on May 11th!
