Pikmin Bloom Celebrates 3.5 Years with Retro Theme

Authore: NovaUpdate:May 15,2025

Pikmin Bloom is gearing up to celebrate its 3.5th anniversary in a big way, and nostalgia is at the heart of the festivities. As the anniversary approaches, the game introduces a charming throwback to Nintendo's past, allowing players to reconnect with classics in a unique fashion.

Starting May 1st, players can embark on special event missions to unlock the Nintendo Game Consoles '80-'95 Decor Pikmin. These new additions pay homage to Nintendo's iconic gaming hardware from the '80s and '90s, infusing your Pikmin with a retro flair that's sure to delight fans of vintage tech.

But the celebration doesn't stop there. In a nod to Nintendo's pre-video game era, you'll also have the chance to acquire Playing Card (Clubs Suit) Decor Pikmin. These special Pikmin are inspired by the playing cards that Nintendo produced during its early days as a physical toy manufacturer, offering a delightful blend of history and gameplay.

While the new Nintendo hardware-inspired looks are likely to be the highlight for many, it's worth noting the ironic twist that Pikmin, which debuted on the GameCube, won't be represented in this set. Nonetheless, from May 1st to May 31st, diving into the event missions will reward you with Game Button Cells, which you can nurture into the new decor Pikmin. Premium Event Pass holders can look forward to additional perks, making the 3.5th anniversary event even more rewarding.
