The Pokémon Company has teamed up with the esteemed Japanese comic publisher Shogakukan to bring you an unprecedented exploration into the world of Pokémon. Shogakukan revealed on their website on April 21 that they will launch Pokécology on June 18, 2025, exclusively in Japan.
Pre-orders for this eagerly anticipated book are now open at bookstores across Japan, with a price tag of 1,430 yen (tax included). While there's no word yet on a global release, given the immense popularity of Pokémon around the world, fans can look forward to an English edition in the near future.
Pokémon Ecology Encyclopedia
Pokécology promises to be a comprehensive guide to the ecology of Pokémon, offering in-depth analysis and insights into their behaviors, diets, sleep patterns, physical characteristics, and interactions with their environment and fellow Pokémon.
This groundbreaking encyclopedia is the result of collaboration with top veterinary behaviorists and ecology experts from the University of Tokyo.
