Pokémon GO's newest additions keep trainers busy! Following Fidough's arrival, Shroodle is making its debut, but catching it requires more than a simple wild encounter.
Shroodle's Pokémon GO Arrival
The Toxic Mouse Pokémon, Shroodle, enters Pokémon GO on January 15, 2025, as part of the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. Originally from Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, it's a relatively fresh face in the Pokémon GO world. Post-event, Shroodle will remain available.
Shiny Shroodle?
Unlike some recent Pokémon releases, Shroodle won't be available in its Shiny form at launch. Expect its Shiny variant to appear in a future event, possibly a Poison-type or Team GO Rocket themed event.
How to Catch Shroodle

12KM eggs collected from January 15th, 12 AM local time onwards, have a chance of hatching Shroodle. Its hatch rate is expected to be higher during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event, but it should remain in the 12KM egg pool afterward.
Securing 12KM Eggs
To obtain Shroodle, you'll need 12KM eggs. These are relatively rare and only obtainable by defeating Team GO Rocket Leaders (Sierra, Arlo, Cliff) or Giovanni. The Taken Over event provides an excellent opportunity to stock up on these eggs due to increased Team GO Rocket activity and easier access to Rocket Radars. Remember, you can always battle GO Rocket Grunts to challenge the Leaders at any time.
Obtaining Grafaiai

Evolving a Shroodle requires 50 Shroodle Candy. Hatching multiple Shroodle or using one as your buddy Pokémon will help you gather the necessary Candy.
Pokémon GO is currently available for play.
