Download A classic card game for three players using a 24-card deck.
Current game rules and agreements:
- Players must reach 880 points to claim a barrel
- Points reset after three unsuccessful attempts to play a barrel
- A player receives a bolt for scoring zero points in a round
- Accumulating three bolts results in a 120-point penalty
- Surrendering players face a penalty equal to the statement amount, with remaining players receiving half that value
Available game settings include:
- Victory requires exceeding 1000 points
- Automatic point reset at 555 or -555 points
- Barrel gameplay during own turn (bypassing normal bidding)
- Redistribution triggered by low-point talon or hand
- Ace marriage scoring
- Golden round option
- Collaborative barrel play scenarios
Understanding "Own Turn" Barrel Gameplay:
Players with 880 points may initiate barrel rounds when holding first-bid rights.
This "own turn" status grants automatic bid victory and talon claim, regardless of opponents' card strength.
Failed attempts incur both a 120-point penalty and count toward the three-strike reset rule.
Barrel play without "own turn" proceeds normally, though unsuccessful attempts don't register.
Multiple players simultaneously qualifying for barrel play resolves through turn order priority.
