The Carplounge Autopilot revolutionizes the way you control your BaitBoat, replacing the traditional remote control with an intuitive Android tablet or phone interface. Available for free on the Google Play Store, this software is compatible with any Bluetooth-enabled Android device. The tablet connects to the boat via a Bluetooth transmitter box, allowing you to control the boat entirely through the touchscreen.

In manual mode, you can navigate the BaitBoat just as you would with a standard remote, using the touchscreen to steer. The app displays the boat's position, route, and orientation on a map, which is continuously updated. Additionally, you can use the built-in GPS to save and name promising fishing spots identified by the echo sounder, such as "jetty left," "spot 1," or "home."

Switch to autopilot mode, and you can select and combine points into a route with specific actions, such as opening hatches or turning on lights. For example, you could program the boat to:

1. Navigate to "Sandbank" and open the right hopper upon arrival.
2. Proceed to "Spot 2" and open the left hopper.
3. Return to the fishing spot and blink once.

The boat will then automatically follow this route, allowing you to store an almost limitless number of spots and routes. Thanks to advanced measurement technologies, including position and acceleration sensors, as well as the latest GPS and compass technology, the boat can achieve route guidance with 90% accuracy within 30cm.

The system also smartly manages line tension when deploying multiple rods to different spots. If you tension one or both lines while the boat is moving, the built-in electronics detect this and adjust the boat's course to maintain a direct path to the target without unnecessary turns, thus preventing line bends.

While the autopilot replaces the standard remote control, we offer the flexibility to connect a remote control to the autopilot if preferred. You can choose to control the boat via your tablet or the remote control. The app is optimized for 10-inch Android tablets, allowing direct steering via the touchscreen.

The free app, available on the Google Play Store, is continuously developed and updated. Automatic software updates ensure that new features, changes, and enhancements are quickly available without the need to return the autopilot or boat for service. The autopilot app updates automatically, similar to other tablet and smartphone apps.
