Hibou is crafted to enhance your safety while fostering social connections. Drawing on two decades of expertise in lone worker technology and healthcare services, Hibou embodies a passion for living life fully. It ensures your safety and keeps your family informed, allowing you to check-in during activities so your loved ones know you're safe.

Leveraging GPS technology and built-in timers, Hibou enables you to engage in your favorite activities without worry. Whether you're climbing a mountain in your backyard, skiing for the afternoon, or traveling the world, Hibou supports you. Simply activate the activity button in the app, set a timer for the expected duration (up to 24 hours), and enjoy your activity. Upon your safe return, end the timer. If you need more time, extend it with a button press.

In situations where you're in distress and unable to seek help, Hibou steps in. If your timer expires, notifications are sent to your pre-selected contacts, informing them you're overdue and providing your last known location, ensuring help arrives promptly.

Hibou also offers a daily automated wellness check service, giving your loved ones peace of mind. At scheduled times once or twice a day, you report your status via the app, website, or phone system. If you miss a check-in, you'll receive reminders through app notifications, emails, and phone calls. After a grace period and further reminders, your circle members will be notified if you still haven't reported.

Additionally, Hibou features a help button. Pressing it sends an immediate notification and your GPS location to your contact list. While calling 9-1-1 is crucial in emergencies, alerting your family and friends can often be the most appropriate response.
