Here's the untold Christmas secret: Santa Claus perished ages ago. In antiquity, as deities faded, Santa wed a goddess—known as Bast in Egypt, Artemis in Greece, Diana in Rome. Her legacy includes witch, hero, and assassin. You know her as Mrs. Claus.

In the Service of Mrs. Claus is a 188,000-word interactive fantasy thriller by Brian Rushton, where your decisions shape the narrative. Experience this purely text-based adventure—free from graphics or sound effects—powered solely by your boundless imagination.

After Santa's passing, Mrs. Claus channeled Christmas' magic into Santa's Heart, entombed with him in a high-security vault beneath Claus Castle. But now the Heart has been stolen. As Mrs. Claus' most trusted elf operative, you must infiltrate the enemy ranks to reclaim the Heart and rescue Christmas from dark forces.

Uncover Fae conspiracies while conjuring giant marshmallows and lethal candy canes, courting charming allies and cunning foes, and competing against the shadowy Krinkle Corporation to prevent Christmas' collapse. In the final conflict, choose between unleashing winter elf magic against the darkness or joining the betrayal against your mistress.

• Transform effortlessly between genders, species, and forms as a shape-shifting elf

• Confront cults, deities, and corporate giants threatening Mrs. Claus' dominion

• Wield magical abilities during covert operations as her special agent

• Assess earthly children for their naughty/nice status and gift eligibility

• Determine the destiny of Christmas and the Fae realm

• Uncover the mystery behind Santa's demise

• Forge alliances with rivals or condemn them to the naughty list

• Reinstate Mrs. Claus' rule, betray her cause, or become her consort

Christmas approaches. Stay vigilant.
