Application Description

Beyond standard shogi piece gameplay, "Hasami Shogi" is also an app to play "Prisoner's Base Shogi" and "Surround Shogi".

Besides playing with standard shogi pieces, "Hasami Shogi (Japanese chess scissors)" also allows you to enjoy "Prisoner's Base Shogi" and "Surround Shogi".

● Hasami Shogi Rules

Players are divided into pawns and gold generals. Capture opponent pieces by surrounding them.

Win by capturing three enemy pieces.

However, due to the nature of Hasami Shogi, games might sometimes reach a stalemate (while design efforts minimize this, outcomes can still rely on luck).

● Prisoner's Base Shogi Rules

Players are divided into pawns and gold generals. Move all pawns into the opponent's 3x3 territory to win. Opponent pieces can be jumped over.

● Surround Shogi Rules

Players are divided into pawns and gold generals. Capture opponent pieces by surrounding them as in standard Hasami Shogi. Additionally, you can place pieces within your own territory to control squares.

Win by controlling six squares on the board or securing three territories.

All game modes feature CPU opponents with three difficulty levels. Player versus player matches are also supported.
