"Assassin's Creed Shadows: Global Release Schedule Announced"

Ubisoft has officially announced the global release schedule for the highly anticipated Assassin’s Creed Shadows. In a departure from the typical Ubisoft release strategy, Assassin’s Creed Shadows will launch simultaneously worldwide without any early access options available for purchase.

The game will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S at 12am local time on March 20. However, PC gamers should note that the release times differ depending on the platform. For those purchasing on Steam, the release times vary by region, while those using Ubisoft's Ubi Connect platform will experience a different set of release times.

Pre-loading is already available for Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, and PC, allowing eager fans to prepare for the launch.

The pressure is on for Assassin’s Creed Shadows to perform well for Ubisoft, especially following a series of delays and the underwhelming sales of last year's Star Wars Outlaws. Ubisoft has faced several challenges recently, including high-profile game flops, layoffs, studio closures, and cancellations leading up to this release.

IGN’s review of Assassin’s Creed Shadows awarded it an impressive 8/10, praising the game for refining its existing systems to create one of the best iterations of the open-world style Ubisoft has been perfecting over the last decade.
