Spilled! makes its mobile debut after achieving significant acclaim and positive reviews on PC. Developed by Lente, an independent Dutch solo developer under the Sound Games banner, this project began production in 2022 and launched on PC in March 2025.
A leisurely journey through contaminated waters that require attention
Spilled! offers a deeply casual and relaxing experience. The core gameplay revolves around navigating a small solar-powered boat, your primary tool as you glide across various environments. These zones gradually expand, becoming increasingly cluttered and active.
The game features eight unique areas, each presenting larger oil spills and new forms of debris. As Spilled! transitions through different biomes, you can discover two hidden animals in each zone, totaling 16 rescuable creatures throughout your adventure.
Objectives remain straightforward. You might be tasked with pushing plastic waste into recycling stations or putting out fires along the riverbanks. Other missions involve cleaning oil from nearby shores or using a hose to create snow where it is needed.
Your boat serves as both a magnet fisher for submerged oil drums and a vessel equipped with a boom for collecting floating bottles. Every cleanup action contributes to an in-game currency system, converting waste into coins. These earnings allow you to purchase upgrades that increase storage capacity, enhance the oil vacuum’s range, or adjust speed and handling mechanics.

The primary gameplay loop of Spilled! involves maneuvering a small boat through tranquil waterways and rescuing biomes-specific animals. However, its true charm likely stems from its aesthetic presentation. The visuals stand out as some of the most stunning in the relaxing game genre, while the atmospheric soundtrack helps immerse you completely in the world.
