A month after its launch, Crashlands 2 has earned praise from both critics and players. However, developer Butterscotch Shenanigans isn't taking it easy. They've rolled out a major update that introduces a more difficult mode for players who have already conquered the game, along with new features to expand an already content-rich release.
This new mode, called Legend Mode, ramps up the difficulty significantly. Enemies and plants now deal more damage, while Flux Dabes becomes even more vulnerable. On the flip side, Explorer Mode provides a much more casual experience for those who prefer to take it easy and enjoy activities like fishing.
Butterscotch Shenanigans has also listened to player feedback regarding changes from the original Crashlands. The Compendium makes a comeback, allowing you to track your discoveries and monitor your progress toward uncovering 100% of the game's content.
WardogsYour companion pets are now more than just adorable sidekicks. With update 1.1, they become fully functional combat partners. Additionally, crafted armor now comes with random bonuses, just like in the original Crashlands.
For players who found the opening section of Crashlands 2 too lengthy, the developers have made adjustments. Version 1.1 introduces new weapons, gadgets, and trinkets early in the game, letting you explore the full range of Crashlands 2's features much sooner.
Combine that with adjustable nighttime darkness, more building space, and home teleporters, and it's evident that Crashlands 2 has become an even more compelling experience!
