Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.3 Delayed
A Scope Similar to Update 2.2
Cyberpunk 2077, the futuristic action RPG developed by CD Projekt RED (CDPR), is pushing back what many consider its definitive "final" update. Initially set for release on June 26, Update 2.3 will now require additional development time as the team strives to match the scale and impact of Update 2.2.
In a recent announcement, Global Community Director Marcin Momot took to Twitter (X) to address the delay, expressing gratitude for the community’s continued support.
"Turns out we're going to need more time with this one. Sorry for the wait and thanks for your patience, everyone!" Momot shared.
Associate Game Director Paweł Sasko also confirmed the extended timeline, emphasizing the team’s commitment to delivering a polished and well-crafted update.
"Need a little more time in the oven my chooms," Sasko wrote. "Making sure it's done well and polished for you. Much love, thank you for your passion for our game — it's incredibly motivating and inspiring."
