Nexon bids farewell to Dynasty Warriors M, the popular mobile spin-off of the acclaimed Dynasty Warriors franchise. The game's servers will officially shut down on February 20th, 2025, bringing an end to epic battles and strategic conquests.
In-app purchases were suspended on December 19th, 2024. While Nexon expressed gratitude to the community, the reasons behind the game's closure remain undisclosed. The relatively short lifespan of the game, launched in November 2023, suggests underperformance may have played a role.
Dynasty Warriors M offered a unique blend of action-packed Musou combat and strategic gameplay. Players could collect and develop 50 officers from five factions, battling across a vast map encompassing 13 regions and 500 stages. The game faithfully recreated iconic historical events such as the Yellow Turban Rebellion and the Battle of Luoyang.
