If you're a Marvel fan, you're in for an exciting June as Kabam has launched a brand-new update for Marvel Contest of Champions—just in time for the release of the upcoming MCU film The Fantastic Four: First Steps. This massive content drop includes not only fresh characters but also a new trailer and two major additions set to arrive on June 4th.
This update also kicks off the Fantastic FORCE Saga, a brand-new storyline that lets players hunt for collectible Research Grants hidden across multiple game modes. Gather enough of these, and you can trade them in for a powerful 7-Star Mister Fantastic—a must-have for any roster.
Tons of Events Are Lined Up
Kabam isn’t stopping there. The Vaults of Variant side quest launches on June 11th and runs through July 9th, diving deep into Reed Richards’ dangerous experiments with multiverse magic. As Reed’s curiosity pushes the boundaries of science, players will step in to help manage unstable and potentially explosive multiversal duplications.
Also making a splash is the reworked Captain Britain, who’s getting both gameplay improvements and visual enhancements. His upgraded version becomes available as a 7-Star Champion starting June 4th, giving players a fresh powerhouse to experiment with.
For fans eagerly awaiting Marvel Studios’ Ironheart, Kabam has planned a 7-Day Hall of Irons Login Calendar from June 10th to August 1st, offering daily login rewards. Additionally, special in-game offers will go live on June 24th, aligning perfectly with the show’s premiere.

It’s June—Time for Marvel to Celebrate PRIDE
In celebration of Pride Month, Marvel Contest of Champions is welcoming two beloved LGBTQ+ heroes from The Runaways: Nico Minoru and Karolina Dean. Nico arrives on June 12th, followed by Karolina on June 26th, bringing their unique abilities and stories into the game.
Join the Runaway Ready solo event running from June 1st to June 30th, where you can earn milestone rewards and unlock exclusive Pride-themed profile pictures. All you need to do is play matches and win fights across any mode (excluding Practice).
