Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble Card Battler Launches on Android

Following the releases of Meteorfall: Journeys in 2017 and Meteorfall: Krumit’s Tale in 2019, indie developer Slothwerks has launched the third entry in the series: Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble. This time, the ultimate prize is the legendary Mask of the Uberlich.

While Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble brings back a few familiar faces, its core gameplay is completely fresh

You'll assemble a three-hero team from a roster of eight unique characters. Then, you'll dive into fast-paced, high-energy battles where strategy revolves around card plays, powerful combos, and pure spectacle.

The adventure begins with Bramble, a once-successful arena owner whose luck ran out after a drunken bet in a shady Meteorfall saloon cost him everything.

Stumbling through the wasteland the next morning, he stumbles upon the fabled Mask of the Uberlich and devises a plan: host a brutal new tournament, attract desperate fighters and wealthy spectators, and claw his way back to the top.

And so the Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble begins—a competition where victory isn't about playing fair. It's about flair, showmanship, and cutting-edge tactics.

You'll play cards, issue commands to your allies, and twist the odds with game-changing Wild Cards. Expect special effects that bend the rules, over 200 unique cards to master, and the ability to stack multiple upgrades on a single powerful card.

Between matches, you can visit Bramble Town to regroup

This is your only respite from the arena, offering opportunities for upgrades and training. However, time is limited, so choosing the right vendors becomes a crucial strategic choice—poor decisions can have immediate consequences.

Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble is designed for quick play sessions. Most complete runs take around 45 minutes or less, a notably brisk pace for the genre.

The game's tone remains delightfully over-the-top. You'll battle ridiculous foes like radiation-crazed snotwolves and drunken bearbearians. This signature absurdity is a core part of the roguelike's enduring charm.

Originally revealed as Bramble Royale, the game was rebranded prior to its pre-registration phase. You can find it now on the Google Play Store for $6.99.
