As the summer swells, there’s no shortage of ways to cool down—but in Japan, it’s long been tradition to embrace spine-tingling tales and eerie activities to fight the heat. Goddess of Victory: Nikke is leaning right into that spirit with its new summer event, Boom! The Ghost!, launching on July 17th!
This fresh narrative, part of the Summer Season event, plunges you into the eerie corridors of an abandoned cruise ship on the Surface. What begins as a routine reconnaissance mission soon spirals into a haunting mystery, forcing your team to craft ghost-hunting gear to silence the supernatural disturbances.
But the ship isn’t just haunted—it’s home to two new SSR characters: Dorothy: Serendipity and Elegg: Boom and Shock. Each arrives with their own purpose: one to recover her lost wings, the other to uncover the vessel’s deepest secrets.
Everybody loves the sunshine
Of course, no summer event would be complete without swimsuits—and in Goddess of Victory: Nikke, that’s especially true. Four fan-favorite swimwear sets are making a comeback, alongside three all-new outfits to refresh your collection.
Even if you’re not here for the beachwear, there’s still plenty to enjoy. The event also introduces a brand-new boss challenge and a fun mini-game.
