Hearthstone is embarking on a mind-bending journey with its latest expansion, Across the Timeways, launching on November 4th. At its heart is Chromie of the Bronze Dragonflight, who uncovers a terrifying truth—time itself is unraveling.
What’s Chromie’s story?
From her station at the Temporal Conflux, she discovers that Murozond is tampering with the flow of time. The corrupted Lord of the Infinite, he’s dragging every timeline toward an inevitable, desolate end.
To halt this disaster, Chromie journeys across ages and dimensions, uniting 11 legendary heroes from across Warcraft’s vast history to stand beside her.
Across the Timeways introduces two powerful new mechanics to Hearthstone. The first, Fabled, lets you summon iconic heroes from Warcraft’s past, future, and parallel realities.
Each class gains its own Fabled hero—think Sylvanas or Gelbin—along with bonus cards that automatically join your deck.
The second mechanic, Rewind, brings true time manipulation to the battlefield. It lets you replay cards with randomized effects, giving you a second chance to rewrite your fate.
New cards like Timeway Warden can trap a minion for a staggering 10,000 turns. Meanwhile, Divergence splits one minion into two alternate versions.
Across the Timeways brings Timelord Nozdormu back to Hearthstone! -------------------------------------------------------------------------Timelord Nozdormu’s return is deeply tied to the Timeways—the mystical pathways connecting every version of reality in the Warcraft universe. As the leader of the Bronze Dragonflight, he and his lively gnome form, Chromie, guard these timelines.
But their greatest threat emerges from within: Nozdormu’s future self is Murozond. Consumed by fear of death, he becomes the very evil he vowed to stop—forging the Infinite Dragonflight and seeking to twist reality into the lifeless End Time.
