The magical yet perilously twisted realm of The Emerald Dream is set to open its doors in Hearthstone on March 25th. This expansion introduces 145 new cards, featuring innovative mechanics and legendary Wild Gods, bringing a fresh twist to the gameplay.
What’s Happening in This Expansion?
Ysera's tranquil realm, the epicenter of all Nature magic, faces a dire threat. Players are given the choice to either defend its pristine beauty or embrace the ensuing chaos.
The new keyword introduced in the Into the Emerald Dream expansion is Imbue. This mechanic is exclusive to Druids, Hunters, Mages, Paladins, Priests, and Shamans, who receive the blessings of the World Tree. The first time you play an Imbue card, your Hero Power transforms into a stronger version, customized to your class. Each subsequent use of an Imbue card further enhances your Hero Power. For instance, Hunters can harness the Blessing of the Wolf. However, players of other classes will not benefit from Imbue.
On the darker side, if protecting nature isn't your style, the Old Gods offer Dark Gifts, a new keyword for Death Knights, Demon Hunters, Rogues, Warlocks, and Warriors. These corruption-laden enhancements work in tandem with Discover options, allowing you to summon nightmare-fueled minions capable of causing chaos. The expansion includes 10 different Dark Gifts.

The expansion also introduces The Wild Gods, legendary minions that are colossal forces of nature. Each class has its own Wild God to rally behind, with some having already succumbed to corruption, creating a fascinating divide between those defending the Dream and those intent on plunging it into a Nightmare.
