Talofa Games has launched early access for Monster Walk, their latest monster-collecting RPG. It is now available on Android and iOS across the UK, Canada, Sweden, Norway, Australia, Finland, and Denmark. A release in the US and other territories is scheduled for later this year.
Monster Walk follows Talofa Games’ debut mobile title, Run Legends, an interactive fitness game that gained popularity for its unique mechanic where player movements triggered attacks and skills. Victory required walking or running to win battles.
Now, their second project merges physical movement with fantasy elements. Monster Walk is a step-powered RPG adventure. Players can take their dog for a walk or visit a local café while exploring mysterious lands to capture strange and wonderful creatures.
Steps recorded via your smartphone or wearable device convert into in-game energy. This resource allows you to gather materials, hatch eggs, and train monsters. Every step contributes to stamina regeneration, powers combat attacks, and funds base upgrades.
The game features a wide array of creatures to catch and befriend. Each monster possesses distinct abilities that can be enhanced through leveling up and strengthening bonds via daily activity. Progressing your movement unlocks new regions and allows you to upgrade your home hub.
