J.C. Lee, the daughter of the iconic Marvel creator Stan Lee, has recently broken her silence in an interview with Business Insider, addressing the serious allegations of elder abuse directed at both her father and her late mother, Joan. These allegations first surfaced in 2017, following Joan's death, and were detailed in a 2018 article by The Hollywood Reporter. The report painted a troubling picture, claiming that J.C. Lee had pressured her parents for money and control over their assets. It also alleged that she had engaged in heated arguments with Stan Lee, describing their relationship as a "powder-keg" and suggesting at least one physical altercation. The Hollywood Reporter supported these claims with photos of a bruise on Joan Lee's arm, which J.C. Lee has vehemently denied.

In her recent interview, J.C. Lee firmly refutes these accusations, labeling them as "a lie." She explains that she chose not to publicly deny the allegations when they first emerged in The Hollywood Reporter, following the advice of those around her. Reflecting on her decision, she expressed regret, stating, "You think I haven't regretted it to this day? They are all lies. That photo is insane. I never did it."

While J.C. Lee admits to having had intense arguments with her parents over financial matters, she insists that these disputes never escalated to physical violence. "I never ever touched my parents," she emphasized.

Stan Lee passed away in 2018 at the age of 95 due to a heart attack.

The comprehensive interview with Business Insider delves into J.C. Lee's life, highlighting her challenges growing up as the child of a famous figure, her financial struggles, experiences of being manipulated by others, feelings of loneliness, her creative pursuits, and the complexities of living in the shadow of her father's legendary legacy.
